Hello! I am Debbie Hunter, owner of Hunter Music, and a San Diego native. Located in beautiful Valley Center. I have been giving piano lessons to people of all ages for over twenty-five years and have enjoyed much success.

Music is infinite. It has no start or finish. Cave dwellers probably struck two sticks together to create rhythm and there will be music throughout all of the future. In all cultures and areas of the globe there is music. It is considered an honor for a musician to provide such diversity and pleasure to each of those respective cultures.
Is there enough music in your life?
The piano was invented around 1750. Its first name was the piano-forte. Translated that means the soft-loud as it was the first instrument that could be played either loud or soft using the touch of the fingers. So much soul could be poured into playing the piano. It was a direct hit with everyone.
Piano lessons would enable you to play music with your heart as well as your soul.
I offer private, personalized, traditional teaching, and composition methods. Sight-reading, ear training, and theory are taught in each piano lesson. When combined, these aspects of music create the most appealing results. Two performances are scheduled each year so the student is able to show off the benefits of piano lessons on stage.
